It was a long time since I wanted to try the product I am going to review today.
This is the secret camouflage by Laura Mercier. This concealer has great reviews, and I bought it about 2 months ago, finally...
What is it for? Secret camouflage conceals your discolorations, redness, imperfections (blemishes, spots)…It offers great coverage, and it is really a good camouflage product when it is properly applied. Moreover it is oil free, long lasting, and can be used for every skin type, even sensitive. This concealer is super thick and dense, so I do not recommend it for the area under the eyes, it would only highlight the fine lines. The product that Laura Mercier has for this delicate eye are is the Undercover Pot-3, another brilliant product, but I will talk about this some other time.
The secret camouflage comes in a case with a mirror, there are 6 different shades to choose from, and each of them comes with 2 pans of product, one to match the skin colour, and the other one to match the skin´s undertone (one is more like a peachy tone, and the other one tends to yellow). This makes it possible to custom-blend your own perfect shade, using both tones. This 6 different shades go from quite pale to the very dark, so there is a big selection of colours to choose from.
I find a big advantage in this product. By mixing both tones I can apply it on really pale skins (using more of the light shade) and also on sallow darker ones (using mostly the darkest shade).
The application of the product is important to achieve a good result. You can use a concealer brush. Use this to mix the colours up the right way on the back of your hand, or you can also use your finger. Apply the product with feathering motions (or dabbing motions if it is a spot what you want to cover) onto the area. Remember that concealer should be applied after your foundation and before the powder, if you are going to set up your make up with powder.
I genuinely recommend this product. Its only disadvantage is the price. It costs €38 at Brown Thomas for 5.92 gr of product contained. My first thought was it better camouflages as a champion, and I have to say that it exceeded my expectations. Also, you only need a small amount of product due to its high pigmentation, so this case will last for a long time.

Hacía mucho tiempo que quería probar este producto del que os voy a hablar hoy. Es el corrector de Laura Mercier. Tiene unas reviews estupendas, y al final, hace cosa de un par de meses, me hice con él.
¿ Para qué sirve? Este corrector sirve para camuflar, como su nombre indica, tanto manchas, rojeces, granos, imperfecciones…es super cubriente, es decir, cumple su papel de camuflar a la perfección si se aplica bien, y además no es graso, es de larga duración, y está formulado para poder utilizarse incluso en las pieles más sensibles. Es un corrector muy denso, por lo que no lo recomiendo para la zona de debajo de los ojos. Un producto tan denso suele acentuar las arruguitas. Para bolsas y ojeras Laura Mercier tiene el Undercover Pot-3, que me encanta también, pero del que hablaré en otra ocasión.
El corrector camuflaje viene en un estuche con espejo dentro, y lo primero que llama la atención es que vienen dos tonos. Si no recuerdo mal hay 6 tonos diferentes a elegir, y cada uno de ellos lleva dos diferentes en su interior, uno en base a nuestro tono de piel, y otro en base al subtono. Uno tiende a melocotón y el otro amarillo, y de lo que se trata es de customizar el producto, usando ambos tonos, para conseguir el tono perfecto para nosotras. Estos 6 tonos van del muy claro, al muy oscuro, por lo que hay una amplia gama para elegir.
Para mí tiene una gran ventaja, al poder mezclar ambos tonos, igual lo uso en pieles más blanquitas (con más cantidad del tono claro) que en pieles más morenas (añadiendo más cantidad del tono oscuro).
La aplicación ideal es con un pincelito para corrector (de pelo sintético normalmente), pero también puedes aplicártelo con el dedo. Mezcla bien ambos tonos en el reverso de tu mano y aplícalo sobre la zona que necesites, a toquecitos y sin arrastrar el producto. El corrector se aplica siempre sobre la base de maquillaje y antes de los polvos, si los utilizas.
Este es un producto que recomiendo totalmente. El único inconveniente que le encuentro es el precio. Cuesta €38 en Brown Thomas, por 5.92 gramos de producto. Lo primero que pensé sobre el precio es que más le valía camuflar como un campeón, que de eso se trata, y tengo que decir que ha superado mis expectativas, y además utilizas muy poquita cantidad, por lo que cunde muchísimo.
