Little mermaid- La Sirenita

This photoshoot took place in Benicasim (Spain) last September, during my holidays.

It is very special to me for different reasons...

1. The team. My brother Jorge taking the pictures ; my baby cousin Gemma was the model, and she also gave me a hand in sticking the pearls and stars on the headpiece. 

2. And I did the rest: make up, hair, manicure, costume... I made her top with the use of latex on a mold I had previously made, printing what it is the scales. I then painted the latex and applied glitter, loads of glitter! Lots of preparation for this look, but I reckon it was all worth it.

3. I finally have a mermaid in my portfolio :)

My cousin Gemma is a designer, an artist, she creates amazing accessories and designs. I am lucky enough to own a few jewellery pieces from her and she also designed my logo :) If you do not know Laliblue yet, I really advise you to check her website: Laliblue.

Thanks Jorge and Gemma for a beautiful evening. I could not imagine a better place to shoot my mermaid than La Renegá, warm and quiet in September. We definitely rocked it guys ;)

Esta sesión de fotos tuvo lugar en Benicasim (España), el pasado mes de Septiembre, durante mis vacaciones.

Es muy especial para mí, por diversas razones:

1. El equipo. Mi hermano Jorge a cargo de la fotografía; mi prima pequeña Gemma hizo de modelo, y también me ayudó a pegar las perlitas y estrellas de mar del tocado.

2. Yo me encargué del resto: el maquillaje, peinado, manicura, vestuario...Fabriqué el top-sujetador con látex, previamente hice un molde simulando las escamas. Después pinté el látex y le pegué mucha purpurina! Me llevó tiempo preparar este look, pero valió la pena.

3. Finalmente tengo una sirena en mi portfolio :)

Gracias Jorge y Gemma por una tarde/noche magnífica, no se me ocurre un sitio mejor que La Renegá, para mi sirenita, playa cálida y tranquila en Septiembre. Definitivamente, nos salimos chicos! :)
