Madame Truska

This is the look I came with when I was asked to do a look using crepe hair. Madame Truska is a skelk, a sea-creature that was often mistaken for being mermaids. She is able to grow fur all over her body as well as removing it again.When her family was attacked and killed, she was brought to the Cirque Du Freak to live there as it is custom for the skelks to live without contact with their species when their husband dies.

Madame Truska performs at the Cirque du Freak by growing facial hair and re attract it.

You might remember Salma Hayek, very sexy with her beard, performing in the film :)

The amazing photographer involved in this photo shoot was Colm Edwards; the beautiful model, Gabriela Molkova; my friend Emari Williams was in charge of the hair; and myself, make up and styling.

Este es el resultado del look cuando me pidieron que hiciera uno con postizo, es decir, pelo postizo, facial, y sintético (lo que nunca querríamos tener en la cara, vaya). Me inspiré en Madame Truska, que es un skelk, una criatura marina a la que a menudo confunden con sirenas. Ella tiene la habilidad de hacer crecer el pelo en todo su cuerpo, deshacerse de él, y hacerlo crecer de nuevo. Cuando su familia fue atacada y asesinada, Madame Truska fue llevada al Cirque du Freak, donde vivió siguiendo la tradición de vivir sin contacto con su especie cuando su marido muere.

Madame Truska actúa en el Cirque du Freak haciendo crecer su barba y atraer a los hombres con ello. 

Puede que os acordéis de Salma Hayek, muy sexy con su barba, actuando en la película ;)
