Hi girlies, let's go with another product review.
This time, with a difference from the previous one about the Double wear stay-in-place by Estee Lauder, I absolutely recommend this product to everybody (everybody that uses make up!).
It is a set of make up brushes, but a very special one, due to its price! This 20 piece set is a collection of the make up brushes by Royal & Langnickel, and the collection is called Silk.
The first time that I heard about this brand was during the beauty Fair in Dublin last March, or maybe in April? Their stand was quite big and just in the center of the room, very well organised. I have to say that when I saw the prices I just kept walking by the stand...call me posh, but cheap things are sometimes expensive, and I do not really trust them. Also, with so many stands to visit... I just missed it this time.
But because they were just in the middle of the place, I ended in front of their stand again, and this time I was too curious...
In a second, I had a lady in front of me, with a big smile, offering her help. I had already a brush in my hand at that stage, and I was pleasantly surprised by the soft touch of its hair. She informed that Royal & Langnickel have different lines of brushes that go from the cheap to the not so cheap prices. She recommended the Silk line, saying that it was a Pro line, and very good quality. And I just fell in love with the touch of this brush hair, so soft and dense, its firm wooden handle, a high quality brush.
Finally I decided to give it a try and I ended buying 4 brushes: the fan brush, one for gel nails, and a couple for eyes, one for the crease and the other one pencil type. I also bought a brushes belt, the red one that you might have seen in some pictures, that is great when you are working and on the go, just to keep all the brushes close to hand. I can say then that I highly recommend this Royal & Langnickel Silk brushes without any doubts. Most of the brushes I have are mac ones, and yes, they are nice good quality, but also expensive...The Royal ones have no reason to be jealous about the mac ones regarding quality, and I mean it, girls.
Some weeks ago I wanted to buy some more brushes (for the fact that I find myself cleaning brushes under the tap so often, and it is a bit of a pain!) so having a look on the internet I found this 20 piece brushes set at Amazon.uk at a very competitive price. The normal price of this set is 159.99 pounds, that would be 178.29 euro.
But what I paid including transport (to Ireland), and of course I got a parcel in perfect state in less than a week, was 52 euro. If we consider that this is for 20 brushes (+ the 20 compartment wrap), that is a price of 2.60 euro per brush, and taking in consideration the quality of these brushes, this is cheap!
About 3 weeks ago I got them delivered, and I have been using them since, the pictures are real, those are my Silk brushes. I have used them since, washed them, tried all of them, and they are great.
The Silk brushes are not only perfect for make up artist but for all those willing to have a good collection of make up brushes, and at a great price. This set contains natural hair brushes, and also synthetic ones for foundation, concealer and cream eye shadow application.
Every Silk brush is made with chrome plated ferrales, hardwood handles and the best quality hair. Every brush has been handcrafted and it has the name of the brand on one side and a description of the brush on the other side. This is ideal for beginners or just confused, as we will know which brush to be using by reading the description on the handle. This comes only in English.
Some of the brushes, the bigger ones, come with a plastic hood to keep the hair always in good condition, and every brush comes in a plastic sleeve for protection. They come presented beautifully with a 20 compartment wrap to safely store all your brushes. All the brushes contained as follows:

Hola chicas, vamos allá con otra review. Este producto, a diferencia de la base de maquillaje de la primera review, sí lo recomiendo absolutamente a todas.
Se trata de una manta de brochas. Pero una manta de brochas muy especial! Sobretodo por el precio que tiene.
Son 20 brochas de maquillaje de la marca Royal & Langnickel, de su colección Silk.
Yo descubrí esta marca en la última feria de la belleza que tuvo lugar en Dublín, sobre Marzo de este año, si no recuerdo mal.
Me llamó la atención porque tenían un stand muy grande, muy organizado, y en el centro de la feria.
Reconozco que me acerqué, y al ver los precios, pasé de largo. Llamarme pija, pero lo barato a veces sale caro, y a mí me hace desconfiar...Había tantos stands que visitar que no le hice mucho caso.
Al estar en el centro de la feria, en cuanto me descuidé, me encontré enfrente del stand de nuevo, y esta vez si me pico la curiosidad. Enseguida vino una señorita, mientras yo comprobaba que suavito tenía el pelo la brocha que cogí, y me informo de que tienen varias líneas, unas baratas, y otras no tanto. Me recomendó probar la línea Silk, y el tacto de la brocha fan me enamoró. Un pelito muy suave, y tupido, un mango compacto y resistente, una brocha de buena calidad. Al final decidí comprar 4 brochas, la fan (que es la tipo abanico para limpiar debajo de los ojos cuando cae sombra en polvo), una para uñas de gel, y otras dos para difuminar sombras, siendo una de ellas tipo lápiz. Además compré un cinturón para brochas, el rojo que sale en algunas fotos mías, que va genial cuando estas maquillando, para tener todo a mano.
Pues bien, estas brochas Royal & Langnickel Silk sí las recomiendo sin reservas. La mayoria de las brochas que tengo son de mac, y sí, la calidad de mac es estupenda, pero son brochas caras...y las Royal no tienen nada que envidiar a las mac en cuanto a calidad, así de tajante lo digo.
Hace poco decidí comprar algunas más (por aquello de estar siempre bajo el chorro del grifo limpiando brochas....que es un rollo), y encontré nada menos que una manta con 20 brochas de esta marca en Amazon.uk a un precio muy reducido.
El precio de esta manta es de 159.99 libras, que serían 178.29 euros.
Pues bien, lo que yo pagué, incluyendo el transporte, que además me llegó en perfectísimo estado en menos de una semana, fueron 52 euros.
Si tenemos en cuenta que vienen 20 brochas (más el estuche), nos sale a 2.60 euros la brocha, y dada la calidad de estas brochas, esta tirado de precio.
ya unas 3 semanas que las recibí, las fotos son reales, de mis brochas. Las he estado usando desde entonces, las he lavado, he probado todas, y son estupendas. Las brochas Silk no sólo son perfectas para maquilladoras profesionales, sino para toda aquella que quiera tener una buena manta de brochas, de calidad, pero a muy buen precio. Contiene brochas tanto de pelo natural, como sintetico (para la base de maquillaje, corrector, y sombras en crema). El mango de es madera color negro, con el cromado plata que sujeta perfectamente el pelo de calidad superior. Cada una de las brochas tiene inscrita, en una parte del mango, la marca, y en la otra parte, lleva inscrita una descripción de la brocha. Esto es ideal para novatas o despistadas, ya que sabremos para que usar cada brocha por su inscripción, viene en inglés, pero ahora luego lo traduzco, por si acaso alguien se pierde.
Algunas de las brochas, las más gorditas, vienen con una capucha de plástico, para mantener el pelo sujetito, y todas ellas vienen protegidas en una bolsita como protección. Vienen perfectamente presentadas en una manta (que es un estuche) tipo polipiel negro, con los ribetes en rojo, que se enrolla y se ata con unas cintas, de polipiel tambien. Cada brocha tiene su departamento individual. Cuando extendemos la manta, esta tiene una solapa cubriendo las brochas que levantaremos para su uso. Una vez cerrado el estuche quedan perfectamente protegidas. El detalle de las brochas que nos vienen a continuacion:
