Reshaping your eye brows will transform your face. I would recommend to do this with tweezers rather than the wax, as the skin surrounding the eyes is very soft and delicate, and plugging them is less aggressive on the skin.
We cannot forget about our eye brows especially if we are making up our eyes. Your eye brows will end the look, adding strength and definition to your face.
Although you can fill and reshape your eye brows with an eyebrow pencil, my favourite is to use a powder product, which looks more natural than an eye pencil. I have used different products and brands, from eye shadows that can be used for the eye brows, to powder products designed specifically for your eye brows make up. However, since I discover the product I am going to talk about, I am loving it!
Some weeks ago, in the beauty fair in Dublin, I got this product for eye brows from “beautiful brows”. They had a special promotion for the fair that included a mascara, lipstick and this product for eye brows, with stencils and the brush.
I have not used the mascara yet, in fact the only product I want to talk about, for now, is this unique, highly concentrated mineral pigment powder that comes in a range of four colours available- Chocolate, Dark Brown, Brown and Charcoal, there is a shade to suit everyone.
This product is different to other products in the market place as being a semi-permanent make up, it does not smudge and it is water resistant! You can have a swim, it can pour rain on you, but your eye brows will stay perfect. It also comes with a set of stencils that will make it very easy. It comes in a set of 3 different shapes. You just have to place the stencil on your natural eye brow, and with the brush, (that comes also in the pack and you can find in their website), you place a bit of powder in the direction against the hair growth first, and then in the opposite direction, same as the hair growth. In 20 seconds you will make up your brows.
It is very easy having the stencils, but if you were to make a mistake do not worry, you have 10 minutes to take off the excess of product with a cotton stick. The product will set after 10 minutes and will last for 24 hours intact. To remove it, you will need an eye make up remover (any oil based make up remover).
What I am loving of this product is that the result is very natural, that the 4 shades presented will suit everyone, and it is long lasting, no matter what.

Las cejas hay que cuidarlas, yo recomiendo quitar los pelitos que nos estorban con pinzas, porque la piel de los ojos es muy delicada y otros métodos, como la cera, resultan muy agresivos.
En nuestra rutina de maquillaje no podemos olvidarnos de las cejas, sobretodo si vamos a pintarnos los ojos. Las cejas acabarán el look, dándole más fuerza y expresividad a tu cara.
Aunque se puede utilizar un lápiz de ojos para maquillar las cejas, mi producto preferido siempre ha sido un producto en polvo, que queda más natural que el lápiz. He utilizado diferentes productos y marcas, desde sombras de ojos que pueden servir, por el tono, para marcar las cejas, hasta productos en polvo especialmente enfocados al maquillaje de cejas. Sin embargo, últimamente he probado un producto que me encanta! De ahí que lo incluya en esta sección.
Hace algunas semanas, cuando estuve en la feria de la belleza de Dublín, me hice con este producto para cejas de “beautiful brows”. Tenían una promoción para la feria que incluía una máscara de pestañas, pintalabios, y el producto para cejas, con sus moldes y su pincel. El rimmel todavía no lo he estrenado, de hecho de lo que quiero hablaros es del producto para las cejas, un pigmento mineral semi-permanente. Se presenta en 4 tonos distintos (para pelo rubio, castaño claro, castaño medio/oscuro y moreno.
Pues bien, lo extraordinario de este producto, y lo que lo diferencia de otros que tengo y que también me gustan, es que al tratarse de un maquillaje semi-permanente, no se corre, y es resistente al agua, sí!! Puedes ir a la piscina y te puede caer un chaparrón encima, que tus cejas seguirán intactas. Además viene con unas plantillas con tres distintas formas de cejas, y una vez localizas la tuya, maquillar las cejas es muy fácil. Simplemente pones la plantilla sobre tu ceja, y con el pincel que también venía con la promoción, y que tienen en su página web, lo pasas por la ceja con un poco de producto, primero en el sentido contrario del nacimiento del pelo, y luego en el mismo sentido. En 20 segundos te maquillas las cejas.
Es muy sencillo teniendo las plantillas, pero si te sales o te equivocas, tienes 10 minutos para limpiarlo con un bastoncito de algodón, ya que el producto se queda fijo tras los primeros 10 minutos y dura 24 horas. Para retirarlo hay que utilizar un desmaquillador de ojos.
Lo que me encanta de este producto es que queda muy natural, que los 4 tonos que se presentan abarcan todas las tonalidades de cejas posible, y que dura todo el día, sin moverse, caiga lo que caiga.

2. A glass of good red wine. I love it. Do you have a hard day at work? Try with a glass of red wine, I find it so relaxing. Moreover it is also good for the health of the heart (with measure of course, just one glass). In Spain we have beautiful wine, but since I moved to Dublin I have opened my mind and taste to “new world wines”, Australia, New Zealand, Chile… I absolutely love "Casillero del diablo".
2. Un vaso de buen vino tinto. Me encanta. ¿Qué tienes un día duro en el trabajo? Un vasito de vino es de lo más relajante. Además, dicen que el vino tinto es beneficioso para el corazón (con medida claro, un vasito). En España tenemos vinos buenísimos, pero desde que vivo en Irlanda he abierto la mente y los gustos a lo que denominan el “mundo nuevo”, Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Chile. El vino chileno, en especial “Casillero del diablo” me tiene enamorada.
3. The last, and talking about relaxation, is the Carlton House - Hotel in County Kildare, where I spent the day on Friday, and also the night. The place is so beautiful, with golf courses all around and lots of green. The House has an old area, and a new one, very modern and functional that they have incorporated to the old one doing a great job. The Spa, a luxury that I will not forget in a while. I have no pictures from the spa, as cameras are not allowed, but believe me if I tell you that it was divine. I got a Chakra Balancing Massage, this is an innovative massage experience that focuses on the seven chakra centres using a variety of massage techniques. A deep tissue massage with reflexology work (the hot towels envolving my feet…nice!) and also hot stones. It leads to stress relief, decreases muscular tension and increases energy. The treatment is enhanced by a guided meditation to bring about balance to the entire chakra system.
The smell, the music, everything helps to create that relaxing atmosphere that you just wish it never finishes. From there to the relaxation room, having a mango sorbet lying on a chair with views to the forest. A perfect day.
The restaurant did not disappoint us either, the service was excellent and the food so tasty and yummy. A weekend to charge the batteries! I leave some pictures and the link of the spa, in case someone is interested. I hope you have a great week! xxx
3. Para finalizar, y hablando de relajarse, el viernes pasé el día, con noche incluída, en este caserón-hotel en el condado de Kildare, Carton House. El sitio es precioso, con campos de golf y mucho verde. El caserón tiene una zona antigua, y una nueva muy moderna y funcional que han sabido incorporar con mucho arte a la parte antigua. El Spa, un lujo que tardaré tiempo en olvidar. No hay fotos, porque no se permiten cámaras, pero creedme si os digo que era divino. Me dieron un masaje corporal Chakra, que se concentra en los siete puntos chakra usando distintas técnicas de masaje. Este masaje incluye también reflexología (y las toallas calientes en los piés…qué gusto!), piedras calientes, y sirve para desestresar, eliminar tensión muscular y relajarte pero que mucho! Los aromas, la música, todo acompaña a crear un ambiente relajante que no quieres que se acabe nunca. De ahí a la sala de relajación, a tomar un sorbete de mango en una tumbona con vistas a los bosques. Una tarde perfecta.
El restaurante tampoco nos decepcionó, servicio impecable y la comida buenísima. Un fin de semana para recargar pilas! Os dejo algunas fotos y el link del spa (arriba), por si a alguien le puede interesar. Que tengáis una fantástica semana!
