Hi there, the tip for this week will help us to find the perfect red lipstick for us!

There are a few different points to bring into consideration when choosing a red lipstick:

- The size of your lips: If your lips are small, you will want to stay away from dark tones, and they will only make your lips look smaller.

- Your skin tone: For dark beige and bronze skin a deep red lipstick with a burgundy tone is perfect for you. For ivory and light beige, I recommend a true red. However, if you have a very fair complexion, look for a red with a pink tint to it.

- The colour of your teeth: This rule works not only with red tones but any colour: if your teeth are harsly stained, apply colours with a blue undertone, this will help "whiten" your teeth.

Wearing colours with a yellow undertone will make them appear more yellow.

- Rest of the look: A simple rule that you can break if you wish, however it is very popular. Because red lipstick is very dramatic, keep the rest of your look subtle. keep your eye shadow light; go for one shimmery, all over eye colour. Add black eyeliner as close to the lashes as possible and mascara. Keep blush to a natural tone, and now you are ready to go!

Hola a todos, el consejito de esta semana nos ayudará a encontrar el rojo de labios perfecto para cada una de nosotras.

Hay algunos puntos a tener en cuenta a la hora de elegir un pintalabios rojo:

- El tamaño de nuestros labios: Si tenemos los labios pequeños, mejor mantenernos alejadas de los tonos oscuros, ya que éstos les harán parecer más pequeños.

- El tono de nuestra piel: Para pieles oscuras y bronceadas, os recomiendo un rojo de labios intenso, un color burdeos es muy favorecedor. Para pieles más blanquitas, un rojo llamativo es perfecto. Sin embargo, si eres realmente pálida, prueba un rojo con un tinte rosado.

- El color de tus dientes: Esta regla funciona no sólo con los rojos, sino con todos los tonos. Si tus dientes están manchados, trata de usar siempre pintalabios con un subtono azulado, ésto ayudará a crear el efecto de dientes más blancos. Si utilizas pintalabios con un subtono amarillo sólo conseguirás que parezcan más amarillentos. 

- Ten en cuenta el resto del look: Una regla muy simple, que por otro lado puedes romper si te apetece, aunque esté muy extendida: Como los labios rojos son de por sí bastante dramáticos, mantén el resto de tu look suave. Utiliza una sombra de ojos clarita, mejor con brillo, un único color para todo el párpado. Añade eyeliner negro lo más cerca posible a la línea de las pestañas, y aplícate la máscara de pestañas. Sé discreta con el colorete, mejor un tono natural, y ya estás lista para salir!
